📌 Tidy Touch Housekeeping – Agency Fee FAQ

Below you will find all the information about how our monthly agency fee works, how it is calculated, and exactly what you pay for.

💡 What is the Monthly Agency Fee?

The monthly agency fee covers everything on the management side of your service, including:

  • Scheduling and calendar management

  • Admin and communication

  • Customer support

  • Cover when your cleaner is away

  • Quality control and ongoing management

  • System costs and coordination

This fee ensures your service runs all year round smoothly, even during holidays, cancellations, or cleaner absences.

You continue to pay your cleaner directly for the cleaning hours at £15 per hour.

💷 How Is My Monthly Fee Calculated?

We use a simple, fair formula:

  1. Weekly hours × £5 (agency rate)

  2. × 52 weeks

  3. Minus 8 bank holiday weeks

  4. Minus 1 extra free week as a bonus

  5. Divided by 12 months

  6. Rounded to the nearest £5 for simple billing

This means you don’t pay for bank holidays or the extra free week.

Below are the final monthly fees for the most common cleaning schedules:

WEEKLY CLIENTS

6 hours weekly

➡ £110 per month

5 hours weekly

➡ £90 per month

4 hours weekly

➡ £70 per month

3 hours weekly

➡ £55 per month

2 hours weekly

➡ £35 per month

FORTNIGHTLY CLIENTS

5 hours fortnightly (2.5h weekly)

➡ £45 per month

4 hours fortnightly (2h weekly)

➡ £35 per month

3 hours fortnightly (1.5h weekly)

➡ £25 per month

2 hours fortnightly (1h weekly)

➡ £20 per month

📝 Why Do Weekly Clients Pay More Than Fortnightly?

Because weekly clients use more hours over the year.
The fee is based on actual yearly hours, not just the number of visits.

💳 How Do I Pay the Fee?

  • An invoice is sent on the 1st of each month

  • You pay the fee up front for that month

  • You can pay online directly via the link on the invoice/Bacs

💰 What Do I Pay the Cleaner?

You pay your cleaner directly at:

£15 per hour

This is separate from the monthly agency fee.

📅 What If My Cleaner Cancels?

The fee remains the same.

Why?
Because the agency provides all the management behind the scenes:

  • finding cover

  • managing schedules

  • admin and support

  • communication

You are not charged for cleaning you don’t receive, because you pay the cleaner directly.

📆 What If I Cancel a Clean?

Your agency fee stays the same because it is based on yearly hours, not individual visits.

Also, remember we give you 1 extra free week as a bonus for all the possible inconvenience.

📍 What If I Want to Cancel the Service?

We require 1 month’s notice so we can adjust schedules, admin, and cleaner allocations.
This ensures fairness for both clients and cleaners.
